Renowned Prophet David Owuor has moved to shut rumours that he is a devil worshiper who draws his miraculous powers from a snake.
In a statement to Kenyans, the self-proclaimed Prophet also denied claims that he sacrificed his driver after seeing him pray to a big snake in the forest in Kakamega.

This is after it was rumoured that his driver died mysteriously after a visit to Kakamega forest with the man of God.

Prophet decided to get into the forest alone with his driver, leaving behind a guide who had been provided to show them around.
The Prophet and the driver went deeper in the forest and Owuor told the driver to wait as he went deeper to pray and consult his God.
The curious driver followed him and there he saw a big snake with Owuor kneeling before it.

Ashamed of being caught red handed worshiping a snake, the Prophet allegedly warned the driver against sharing about what he had seen with anyone.
However, the driver shared it anyway and then he died.
Owuor has claimed the rumours were aimed at assassinating his character and blackmailing him.
